I cradled him tenderly against my chest, his tears falling into the gentle folds of my kurta's neckline. "Nayan," I whispered. He only tightened his grasp on my waist, his silence speaking volumes. The thought of revealing my knowledge of his love, the woman who had long held my husband's heart, felt suffocating. But I remained silent, savoring the warmth of our first tender touch, our first embrace, as I held him to his vulnerability.

she was a scattered palette filled with every colour and he was the calm painter who envisioned the whole world through her on his canvas. A tale set in the late 1800s, India when feminism was a taboo while patriarchy and misogyny was a norm. Labanya, an eight year old girl who was a little too curious for her age and gender was tied to Rudrajit, an eleven year old boy who was a bit too composed and soft for his age and gender by the sacred bond of marriage. What would this marriage bring about in the lives of these young souls who were yet to discover their own selves? N.B - This story revolves not only around the romance between the two main character but also focuses on the important aspects and lessons that one could learn from this story by living through the characters and their mindsets while also getting to know about the very different environment of those time. I do not intend to impersonate or resemble any real personalities through my story as it's purely my imagination. Mention of real places and a few historic personalities are there just to add depth to the story and make it realistic.

She's a mother...or so she thought she was going to be. After losing the love of her life and her child a week ago... "Thanks but it's fine" said Karan trying to assure her. "No it's not fine Sir you apply it yourself or I will you got hurt because of me and I don't like it I'm sorry." "Hey Meera it wasn't your fault that I got hurt I will do it again in a heartbeat if it meant you to be safe. Set against the backdrop of the 1990s, this story unfolds a unique and unconventional tale. "I see her every day in school, and now I don't look at her the way a teacher should look at his student. The young woman who sits on the fourth bench of the second row is going to be my wife soon. I know she must be thinking that I rejected her, but it's not my place to tell." Anav, a higher secondary school teacher, finds himself bound in matrimony with Dharini, a student he never particularly favored. This is not a story of enemies to lovers or a romantic journey to marriage. Instead, it's an arranged marriage, where their parents chose them for each other. Despite the traditional setting, Avan and his parents possess a progressive mindset. This narrative delves into various social issues such as dowry, racism, body shaming, and women's education. It also addresses taboo topics like periods and sex education, providing a thought-provoking exploration of these critical themes. **"Parvati was never wanted. Not when she was born, not when she learned to read, and certainly not when she turned twenty-two long past the 'right age' for a village bride. Dark-skinned and unwanted, she was a burden her parents were desperate to throw away. So they found Shiv the drunk youngest son of a poor farmer, heartbroken and ignored by his own family. A man they believed would ruin her life faster than they ever could. But fate has a strange way of mocking cruelty. What began as a marriage of neglect slowly became a story of two broken people mending each other, one quiet act of love at a time."** ---

She came to Devgarh broken, carrying silence where her voice should have been. He was the Sarpanch-feared, distant, and a man who never crossed his own lines. What begins as protection slowly turns into something neither of them names... until care becomes habit, presence becomes comfort, and love grows quietly between them. This is not a story of saving. It is a story of choosing-again and again. A love built on respect, restraint, and the courage to stay. ~~~ 𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒: Soft Romance Dark Themes Set in the 1980s Age Gap (25 × 30) Rural Royalty Rescuer Hero × Survivor Heroine Protective & Possessive (Healthy) Powerful Man × Quiet Strength Devotee Hero × Devotee Heroine Slow Burn Romance Found Family Feminine Power Rising Courtroom Justice Arc
