A few days after she gave birth at 13, she decided to make a run for it with her babies. After finally finding real shelter after stumbling across Mr. Urokodaki and Sabito, they all decided to give the twins away to a kind woman because Giyuu knew she couldn't provide for her babies. In this au, Giyuu is not the water hashira, but Sabito is. They both passed final selection but due to Giyuu's eye injury he is blind in his left eye and keeps a bandage around it. He has a mellowed out personality but smiles and expresses his emotions. Sanemi Shinazugawa is preforming the hashira training and since all ranks have to participate he met Giyuu and was instantly wooed by Giyuu's strength, he saw Giyuu as an angle to the point Giyuu kept leaving an imprint on his mind. He was an angle with an angle's smile. :)
