The human mind can only hold so many memories. So before my mind is lost in antiquity, I have decided to write down the early events of my life. It has been so long since these events took place that, already some is lost. My most vivid memories began with me walking along a desolate road, scarcely populated with trees on the wayside. I remember thinking back on my journey so far, and while I can not remember much before it I do remember I was angry. Furious with my father, or was it my brothers I cant say, but it was definitely one of them. At the age of sixteen I had been forced to make a decision about my future; to stay and be a veritable slave, or be left alone to wander the world finding my place in it. Being the free soul I am, I had come to the decision to leave. You might think this was way too young for those kind of decisions, but it was actually common at the time. In a time period where it was extremely uncommon for people to live past forty-five, a sixteen year old trekking out on his own was all too common. For those of you reading this with out any foreknowledge should know this happening was around eleven-thousand five hundred and fifty-three summers ago. Yes! I can see your reaction now; that look of dumbfound on your face. The case of my age shall be touched upon later. Any way back to my story. It was a warm summer evening in the lands of Atlantis...
