I love Tangled the Series. My favorite character: Varian is the main character in this book. He says he doesn't believe in magic or anything supernatural, but we're gonna change that. He befalls victim to a horrible curse, ten times more dangerous than the wolf curse. This curse can happen anytime anywhere, even during the day. If Varian doesn't believe in curses after this, he has a problem.

Rapunzel Jumped over to Varian and tried to find a pulse. After a few seconds, she could feel the thump thump thump of a heartbeat, but it was faint. Rapunzel called the guards over and commanded, "Get him to an infirmary!" she stood back as the two guards gently lifted Varian and carried him out of the room. She was on the verge of crying now. How had she caused so much pain? It was all her fault... she should've helped Varian with his dad. Now Varian was unconscious, he hated her, and he didn't have any family left. Two girls who are also stuck in the forsaken circus named Catalina and Kiera (Red and Angry) and the raccoon that follows the caravan wherever it goes. Soon after his father is freed from the amber, the young boy is taken into the care of Rapunzel and Eugene. The couple have come to view Varian as their own. They're determined to be whatever Varian needs as he heals from Andrew's abusive influence. But nothing ever comes easy for the little alchemist. A secret enlightens the child to a spectacular destiny. And a creeping evil is approaching, threatening to shroud Corona in eternal darkness and its eyes are unfortunately pointed at Varian. What will become of the teenage boy? Is he doomed to be swallowed in pain and loneliness forever? Or will the light be his greatest salvation? Enjoy this rewrite of Tangled the Series season 3 full of found family, angst, hope, and magic.
