One day the Strawhat pirates happen to come across an island with a rather strange protector. Rather than Luffy finding out about her, Zoro is the one who tries to find her after a small talk with her and strange stories Robin heard in town. Soon it becomes clear that under the hard aggressive shell of this devil fruit user hides something different and dark. Amie's life has never been easy and she tries her best to keep it hidden from the rest and inevitably tries to push them away in the process, but after some weird, dangerous adventures, some personal questions and one mental breakdown, Zoro promises himself that he will help her get back on her own feet, without having to fear every single move she makes. When Kazumi is freed from the pirate crew she has been part of her whole life, she is confused and slightly scared. But of course, when Luffy finds something he wants - he has to have it. She joins his crew (thanks to the persuasive skills of Luffy) and didn't expect to find such a thing such as friends or even...love. Zoro is the one who has caught her eye. But is it the same for Zoro as he always goes in the wrong direction he's supposed to? Can these two samurai find comfort in one another? (I know Zoro isn't a samurai, he's a swordsman, but I thought Samurai sounded better for the title :P)
