It damaged the infected person's empathy and made them willing to go to extreme lengths in the name of love. Advanced strength and senses were other symptoms that would arise with the condition as well. Over time as the disease was desperately suppressed it grew in its numbers, once children would hit eighteen they'd be tested for antigens and the numbers of infected persons would increase every year. Today it was next to unheard of to be uninfected and society had shaped itself around the needs of the infected. The four different strains of the disease would live together as the almost nonexistent uninfected population tried to avoid exposure. On (Y/n) (L/n)'s eighteenth birthday she would have a government ordered blood test to determine what strain of the infection she had only to discover there was no strain present.

After her lover's accident, which placed him into a coma, (F/n) (L/n) struggles with her constant trips to the hospital to visit him. She, however, continues to keep up her appearance and smile except when alone or with her lover. One day, though, while at her favorite cafe, the young woman is approached by another regular customer of the cafe, and he always seems to be there when she is. A phone number is left for her. Curious and shocked, she calls him. As she gets to know him more and more, however, she notices peculiar things about both his behavior and his dress. Something seems rather ... odd. Becoming fixated by this token, (f/n) strives to improve her craft all the more in hopes of one day meeting this knight and having a gift to present him back as her own token of thanks. In doing so, however, she unknowingly causes a hatred to brew within her village of Levonshire. Is it a matter of if the hatred will strike, or is it a matter of when will the hatred make its lasting mark on the village and (f/n)?
