Wemmbu, as skilled as he is, used to have a strong bloodthirst. but after being through one too many things, he just feels empty and exhausted. he doesn't want to fight anymore, but he has forgotten who he was without his mace. will he ever find his true self again, or will he be consumed by his hiraeth?

Wemmbu, a scared hybrid kid(8), is chased by Flame(11)for stealing food until Mane(12) stops it and offers Wemmbu a place to stay. At their forest base, Wemmbu gets food, clothes, and a bed, and slowly starts to feel safe. The next day, Flame takes Wemmbu to get supplies and they find a winged eyeball angel. Wemmbu names it "Eggchan.(8)" The angel turns human and comes home with them. Mane is stunned, Flame and Wemmbu fight over who's fault it was, and everyone ends up patched up. The base now has 4 members - and Flame admits Wemmbu seems "less scared" now.
