After being expelled for a third time, Roxanne and her father have no other choice but to move and restart their lives. Problem is, Roxanne can't change the way she is. Plus, it doesn't help that her new English teacher, Mr. Black brings out that side of her on purpose for amusement. Damien Black is a man who exudes the very word control, something that Roxanne hates with every cell in her body, except...she doesn't hate when he does it. Ironically she enjoys the challenge from an authority figure who won't back down. What happens when the uncontrollable wants to be controlled?

When Elora moves to Everbrook her intoxicating fascination with the mysterious and murderous Mason begins. Mason hates her for learning about his murderous ways but even he soon realises that he would prefer to kiss her than kill her. As Elora begins to break down the barriers around Mason's heart, she starts to realise that not everything in her life is as it seems. The town she lives in, the people she thought she knew, and the man she loves, may not be who she thinks they are. Love is all that matters to Elora, but will that be enough to save her town from the sinister plans of the malicious murderer plaguing Everbrook, Marlemore?

[A psychological thriller] When you can't even pay for a bottle of water, you might want a friend like Casper. This may be hard considering he's the God-given prophet of Seabrook high; the type of kid who offers existential philosophies on a Monday and spews poetry the next.
