This series takes place in an eerie hotel nestled in the mountains where hapless guests come to stay for the night. It already looks like it has a macabre aesthetic, but the hotel's mysterious owner takes it a step further. On Friday nights, he holds a twisted trivia game where those who answer wrong must risk their life in a minigame where the punishment for losing is death. Assisting in his murders are eight voodoo dolls through whom the stories are told. Nine ghosts wake up in these dolls, well aware that they used to be human, and they are ready to get back into their old bodies. They're going to rebel against the killer, find their bodies, and do whatever it takes to escape the hotel!

Ever since he was a boy, infamous serial killer Brad "Quiz Killer" Judd has had eight voodoo dolls to carry out his murders. Possessed by the ghosts of his family's previous victims, they do not know who they are or why they're here. All they know is that they must kill. For years, Brad has operated out of his house, kidnapping victims and forcing them to play in trivia games for their lives. However, he has just caught wind that his childhood home is being put up for auction and decided to move in to lay claim to the place. His dolls aren't taking well to the transition, though, and they start causing conflict with their owner and each other. Will they survive the Murder Hotel?
