It was 2026, and everything in your life had fallen apart. Your friends were gone. The people you loved were dead and had vanished without a trace. You had just turned eight when your parents bought you some new equipment for the latest version of a game, they were beta‑testing. It was supposed to be fun, a VR headset and a glove, nothing more. You trusted them. You trusted the game. You trusted the company they worked for. But the moment you put the equipment on, everything went wrong. Instead of entering a harmless game world, you were dragged into something far darker. You were taken to a hidden lab, a place where Playtime Co. turned children into toys. They experimented on you. They starved you. They broke you down and rebuilt you into something else. A Smiling Critter. Your appearance twisted into the same bright, cheerful shape as the others... but they made a mistake. They gave you abilities they didn't understand, powers they couldn't control. When the experiments were finally "complete," they made sure to erase your memories and threw you into the world of Poppy Playtime like discarded trash. You don't know how you had gotten there or when you arrived, but all that was on your mind was to find about your missing identity and past. The toys seems to know everything about you and yet, you don't even know half of what they're saying.

After spending his childhood in a orphanage keeping distant from the other children. Now as an adult Y/N has spent evrey waking hour of his life trying to find out what happened to his father and eventually his searching leads him to the location of the old factory where he would find some of playtime CO'S most darkest secrets buried deep below the surface.

The first thing you notice is the torso with the bloodied, fleshy severance. Then the strung-up arms. Then the hanging head of something, someone, that looks so familiar. A dog, so similar to the other anthropomorphic characters... It comes to you, finally catching the name of this toy: Dogday. What the hell is he doing here? --- I've been so obsessed with the Smiling Critters since seeing Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, especially the one character who deserved better.
