A suicide mission. That's what it was, Simon was sent down on that god forsaken blood plan. The convict was told this was his only chance to live. If he could get what they needed, then he would be free. Lies. All of them. He was sent there with no expectation that he would make it back. Now he was facing his death in a desperate attempt to both kill this monster and be free. Though...it would take his life. Or so he thought, until he was found by some teacher and a rock.
