And behind this one-eyed dragon was a cloaked lady who acted according to the gods' will - preventing Aemond and the other Targaryens from straying away from the path that was set long ago. That being said, her attachment to the second prince will make it difficult for her to watch him walk the road that he was destined to tred. Aemond Targaryen/ Original female character House of the dragon Aemond Targaryen, the one eyed prince is in need of a marriage to further secure the family position, and pacify his chaotic heart. Alicent, begins the search and it seems like a proposal in the dornish might be in mind, but things might not go as planed, as the dornish woman that seems to speak to his heart is not the one that was originally meant for him. Troupes in this story: (minor spoilers) Choosing between two women, between what is expected versus what love commands, themes of arranged marriage, slow romance. It's not just a sickfic/sick character study only, but it will have major moments and full chapters where Aemond will be taken care of, specially by the main female, and it's a crucial point in the story, so it fits the sickfick/whump category. Note: This fic is written inside HOTD world, using some information from the book Fire and Blood as well, but is doesn't follow the canon. In this universe Rhaenyra gave up her claim, and Aegon will be crowned king. The story centers more in the greens, specially Aemond, but it will explore original characters.
