[story under construction] A calm breeze danced through the leaves of the ancient trees, causing a low howling noise, it flew through the ashes of the broken, burnt house that the young demon hunter once called home. The whole village was in ruins, nobody would believe that once people lived here. The fire of the Legion was so destructive. The surrounding trees were burnt and mere shadows of their former selves. The other trees that survived held the mutilated corpses of the once living kaldorei, killed and defiled by the demons, left there as a warning to the others. Lianna glanced around in horror but her face held no emotions, only a cold disgust and grief. "Thought I would never visit here again, but look at Elune's cruel joke" she muttered angrily at her surrounding before fixing her gaze on the ground again and continued to walk. A small thing fell under her boot, Lianna quickly stops on her tread and looks down, causing her raven strands of hair to slide down and cover her eyes, but her vision were not really needed, as she could sense a strong energy from it. The night elf kneels down to pick it up, but is struck by a painful memory when she discovers what it was... ----- Lianna Evenwhisper, a simple night elf girl living in Ashenvale, in the village of Shelserin, southwest of the Shrine Of Aessina. She had a dream, to be the most powerful druid on Azeroth and to help those in need with her druidic magic. But everything had changed when Shelserin came under the siege of the Burning Legion, killing all those she held dear and burning the village to ground. Driven by rage and sorrow, Lianna chose to join the darker forces of Azeroth. Will she be consumed by the darkness or will she get redemption?

World of Warcraft, the Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, has become a refuge for 28 year old, office worker, Sarah Metcalfe. Playing for just over a year, she is utterly enchanted and hooked by it's characters, NPCs, lands and lore developing a particular fascination in the storyline of Illidan Stormrage ... On another plane, another time, the world of Azeroth and it's people are very real indeed. Their lives and storylines, have been somehow mirrored by the game in which nearly 10 million players on a planet called Earth subscribe to, yet of this they are oblivious. Until that is, the body of a strange young woman is discovered near Stone Cairn Lake in Goldshire. Sarah Metcalfe finds herself inexplicably in the city of Stormwind. Armed with the knowledge she has of events past, present and those still to come in Azeroth, she ends up in the care of Archmage Khadgar. But this in itself sparks off an unexpected set of events, and the Archmage finds himself in a battle he had not prepared himself for....

To all assembled, he spoke, "We go to Suramar, there we will bring an end to the Legion." Glancing down at the body of the young woman in his arms, he said, "You are mine now, outsider." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just over three weeks have passed since Sarah Metcalfe was found at the site of the road accident. She has undergone therapy, doctors & hospital visits to ensure she is physically fit, yet she has still kept her adventures in Azeroth secret, locked away from everyone, including her best friend Drew Stewart - her "faithful puppy". One night, Sarah unexpectedly finds a way back to Azeroth. Drew witnesses her disappearing through a portal, so what does a faithful puppy do? Runs after its master, of course.... The war with the Legion continues. She learns Khadgar has moved on, and so she must too, but she does so by choosing a particular path. One that will lead her straight to Illidan Stormrage. All rights for the recognised World of Warcraft NPCs, lore and locations in this story belong to Blizzard. All other characters, interaction & general development of the O/C story belong to myself.

In her early years of training, her heart is captured by a fellow student in the Students of Shadow, but as the years progress and she becomes a member of the Crimson Blade, Tiene evolves through a world where the underlying currents of the Burning Legion, lies, lust, betrayal, and debilitating heartbreak, take away almost everything dear to her. From the ashes of war, tormented and driven by deep sorrow, fuelled with hatred for The Burning Legion, she seeks out the one known as the Betrayer, Illidan Stormrage.
