A Drarry fanfiction based upon a simple question - what if Draco had met Harry in a different way to how it happened in the books? I try to follow JK's basic storyline so it seems similar to the books and movies, but with some differences (obviously) to make the Drarry happen.

Harry was returning to Hogwarts alone, Hermione being recognised as a crucial player in the Ministry's efforts of returning the wizarding world to its former Glory. Ron, feeling like Hogwarts held to many soured memories to ever be a home again. When Harry manages to involve himself with dark people with darker intentions the last remaining façade of normality slips away. Without his two closest friends to aid him on a journey of recovery, it seems like the next best answer will be with the reformed Malfoy. Their breath mingles as Harry's eyes rove around Malfoy's face. "You probably enjoy it too." "Immensely." They're so close that Harry could count Draco's eyelashes if he wanted to. His eyes drop to Draco's lips again, and he swallows loudly, interrupting the silence that is only filled with the sound of their heavy breathing. And then Draco starts acting suspicious and Harry wants to know the truth.
