❝ I am Cassandra- she who, without asking, understood it all and still came to her fate, I, Cassandra, full of visions, who sees her own death without turning away. ❞ A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS DUNK X OC ©️ B6LENCIAGA

None who witnessed the match between Prince Maekar Targaryen and Princess Lihua of Leng could call it a happy one, but few royal marriages were fashioned for happiness. There had scarcely been time enough to comprehend Dyanna's loss before the king began speaking of remarriage, insisting that Summerhall required stability, that Maekar's household had fallen into disorder without a lady to govern it, and that six motherless children could not be left to nurse their sorrow alone. But all Maekar could think, each time the subject arose, was that Summerhall already belonged to Dyanna. To bring another woman into her keep was sacrilege, and thus, their marriage became known as a union of absence, between them stretching a gulf neither seemed willing to cross. Maekar Targaryen x OC
