In a realm bound by duty, legacy, and the weight of crowns, some stories begin not with war or ambition-but with something far quieter. Before he was known as Baelor Breakspear, heir to the Iron Throne and the realm's most beloved prince, he was simply a boy with mismatched eyes, carrying the expectations of a kingdom he did not yet understand. Before she became a lady whispered of in courts and songs, Denyse Hightower was a dreamer-gentle, golden, and full of stories about knights, love, and the kind of devotion that could outlast time itself. Their first meeting was nothing more than a fleeting childhood moment within the vast halls of the Red Keep-a fall, a hand extended, laughter shared beneath the sun. But from that single, innocent beginning, something deeper took root. As the years pass, the world around them grows harsher. Loyalties are tested, wars threaten to rise, and the burdens of birthright begin to close in. Baelor is shaped into a prince the realm demands, while Denyse must navigate a life where love is often a luxury denied to women of noble blood. Yet through distance, duty, and the unyielding pull of fate, one question lingers- Can a love born in innocence survive in a world ruled by power? Or will it become just another story, lost to time like so many before it?

When King Daeron the Good sends Prince Baelor Targaryen to Highgarden for the tournament that is to decide who gets Maria Tyrell's hand, no one expects the visit to change the fate of three lives. Baelor finds in Maria a girl who sees beyond the prince, the heir, and the burden of duty. Maria finds in him a loving witness for everything she wishes to be. And Lyonel Baratheon, wild, loyal, and with time impossible to ignore, becomes not the storm she once feared, but one that refuses to let her disappear into the life chosen for her. As years go by, love, marriage, duty, scandal, and power bind them together in ways none of them can escape. As old decisions begin to bleed into the future of the Reach and the Iron Throne, Maria must learn what it means to be daughter, wife, mother, heir and above else - herself. What once seemed sacred must mature into life stripped from fantasy. And for it to happen, a lot of it has to die. Duty that once stand in their way is the very thing that must bind them together. A story of impossible love, political consequence, loyalty, womanhood, and the bitter truth that all three of them have to learn the hard way - one need not intend harm to do it. *Story begins roughly around 199 AC (10 years before the Ashford tourney). *The idea is that it will be a very long one so bare that in mind *The story is loosly based on G.R.R Martin's characters and world as well as AKOTSK series. If you're looking for accuracy with the source material etc. I'm afraid you won't find it unfortunatelly. Still, I hope you enjoy xo
