During a battle, Macaque gets injured, the group does not yet trust Macaque and is still skeptical so they leave the monkey king to watch over him, not only to make sure he is well healed but also so he doesn't run off or do anything destructive. The healing process is slow and painful, it hurts to even use his power. He finds himself unable to even move from his bed some morning. On the verge of death, Sun Wukong is worried for his ex-best friend.

After an intense fight with Red son, MK realizes that he's knocked him out cold. Unsure of what to do, MK brings Red son back to DBK's lair, not knowing what he'll leave behind.

After 3700 years trapped in stone, Senku tries to come to terms with the mystery surrounding the Why-man and petrification, but this is without taking into account his feelings for the mentalist and the appearance of a mysterious child who doesn't belong to this stone world.

MK was orphaned at a young age. He doesn't know why he's never felt normal, doesn't know why he's never fit in and he certainly doesn't know that his actual parents are Sun Wukong and Macaque. This is MK's journey through life, trying to figure out who he is, where he came from, and why his balance sucks. (Most of this is set at the beginning of the actual show except the first two chapters which are before. This is just an excuse to write my two favourite Monkey's being dad's to Mk basically. Lot's of miscommunication is about to occur.)

What was that? A lost monkey? A shadow? A demon? At this point, who knows. He certainly can't tell. MK's eyes and ears start to play cruel tricks on him. He starts seeing and hearing strange things that nobody else can. And, for some reason, he always feels the need to draw whenever something odd occurs. Doing so helps, but not for long. After all, you can't chase away the things that follow you when your mind finally decides to betray you. *This story is based on my OWN experiences with hallucinations. (Also known universaly as projecting on some poor fictional character that really doesn't deserve this.) (This will be marked mature for the realistic depections of mental health. Stay safe out there <3)

"What is this for?" Red Son lifted the guitar, trying to figure out how to properly hold it. "Do you want me to pose with this?" "You're my muse, congrats!" MK grinned, grabbing a bass guitar from the wall. "But I also want to hear what you've got!" Of course, he knew about the instruments MK owned. He had seen them a hundred times. But he had never given them much thought, never bothered to question why MK, an artist, had an entire collection of musical equipment. Were all of them real after all? MK had always been a mystery to Red Son. Apparently, there was much more to him than he had ever realized. (PLACEHOLDER COVER ART!)

With the Lady Bone Demon freed and her plan to destroy the world and make a new. MK and his team need a power strong enough to fight it back. The Samadhi Fire, the Samadhi Son's fire, they need Red Son. Along with three rings of power, the team should be able to defeat the Lady Bone Demon with the fire no problem, no worries, no harm done... right? The Samadhi Son story 3 is released! "Hey, bud, have you ever tried to shapeshift into your monkey form without the power behind it?" "Huh? Whatcha mean by that?" "I'm saying that you can probably shapeshift into your little monkey form and not have to fear destroying the mountain again!" Wukong bit into a peach with his characteristic cheeky smirk as he did. "You'll be able to get comfortable using it, so that in the future, if you ever need it, you'll have more control than ever before!" "I... never thought of that. I guess I can try it!" "Haha, yeah! I'm gonna have sooooo much fun teaching you stuff!" The Monkey King laughed, his tail gripped a branch as he let himself fall and hung upside down, as if showing what MK may be able to do someday. And so, MK set off to try just that. It was a short conversation, but one that would change how he would see himself from then on. Who would've guessed being a monkey was so fun?

After weeks apart from each other, MK and Red Son begin to grow distant, both too focused on their training and families. Until the Spider Queen attacks the city and captures the mentor and father of the couple, they reunite to stop the evil queen in their tracks. Having their relationship slightly tested as they have grown from their last interaction. Story 2 of the Samadhi Son AU! Each story focuses on each season so this story takes place in season 2.
