"Aapke toh naam ka matlab hi rang hai, Abeer ... aur aap mere liye sbse khubsurat rang ho " ~Kashvi Sinha She spent her life filling blank canvases with colors. He spent his life trying to find meaning in shades he could never fully see. Kashvi Sinha and Abeer Roy were never alike. One painted emotions, while the other turned them into music. Yet fate kept bringing them back to each other through moments that felt far too ordinary to become memories. But can two people truly belong in the same story when they experience the world so differently? Because life has a strange way of hiding its harshest truths behind its happiest moments. Some people don't stay forever. They stay just long enough to change the way forever feels. A Shade Called You is a bittersweet story of friendship, love, dreams, loss, and the shades we leave behind in the hearts of those we love. 💌

He was on the verge of the terrace when the phone call broke his spell. "Shit!" He came down by a invisible pull and picked up his half broken phone from the floor. Unknown number. His whole body was trembling. He picked up the call with shaky hands and held it to his ear. A loud, angry female voice came from the other side "HOW DARE YOU DITCH ME ABHIMAN! KUTTE KI MAUT MAROGE SAALE! SHARAM NAHI AYI! MERA PHONE NAHI UTHA RAHE-" "Shivraj this side." He said in his calm voice Silence. "Agnishikha this side." Silence again. "Wrong Number" Said the both of them in unison. ___________________________________________ Two of them sat on the same bed. The distance between them was too huge for those who will get married in months. Aviraj cleared his throat, "Are you.. comfortable?" Vyomika nodded "Waise ghar toh mera hai.. toh..mujhe aapse puchna chahiye tha. Sorry" Aviraj scratched the back of his neck. Two of them remained staring at the stylish marbe floor for maximum 5 minutes. Then Aviraj broke the silence, "Our parents arranged our marriage" No aviraj. THIS was the sentence you blurted out before your would be bride? Kya paati banega tu. Vyomika blinked once at him and nodded like a Ai robot would. Aviraj spoke again "Do you..agree to this marriage? If you don't, then the marriage won't happen without your consent" "I agree." ___________________________________________ Pasand aya? Neeti and Yashwant had been unsworn rivals for their whole fifteen years of school. They used to fight at every chance they got. Oftentimes very violently. They didn't exactly go around hating each other loudly but it was clear to everyone that they fumed with envy if one scored better than the other. This circle went on until the end of the school and they eventually lost contact. But now twelve years later they meet again, this time more mature and more attractive than the last time. This time something changed or rather some realisation hit. Yashwant knew exactly why he played rival and Neeti knew exactly why she leaned into him. The hidden feelings came into play and denying them was getting harder. But is it worth it? Those walks on the beach, those late night conversations and those lingering gazes? Well you never know until you try.
