Nine months in the human trafficking circuit has destroyed every sense of normality you ever knew. For you, it's commonplace to be ordered on your knees for your owner, his clients, anyone else Childe deems necessary-and you've reached a point where you accept this hell, just going along with the motions of life because there's nothing else to do. Kaeya and Diluc change that. They enter your life on a regular workday evening, stepping inside Childe's massive office under the pretense of sorting out a business deal, but a single hastily written message makes it clear that they're not here to hurt you: they're here to help you. The only issue is that they can't give you that help until you escape. And without them, you have no clue you're going to break free from the most prolific human trafficker in all of Snezhnaya.

A homeless couple find a abandon building and move into it. They adopt a street child and hide her from her pimp. Only the building is strange. There are spiritual entities within. Not a danger to the homeless family. Deadly to the pimp and his soldiers. The homeless couple find the child's real relative and finally are convinced to send the child back to her relatives. But not before the spirits of the building reveal themselves. In the process the spirits reveal that what they expected. The building was a living, feeding entity. I put this story as mature because it discusses things that may be disturbing. Human trafficking, survival sex, child abuse, homelessness, and the control methods used by people involved in human sex trafficking. I was homeless three times in my life. Much of what happened to me during those periods are reflected in this story as well as researched material from the internet.

"In silence she was taken, in silence she survived-now freedom feels like a stranger she's never met alive." Donatella Vergara came to Luxembourg chasing a future for her family. Instead, she was swallowed by a world built on control, fear, and invisible chains. For twelve years, she learned how to survive in a place where escape meant death, and obedience meant living one more day. Until a single mission changes everything-and pulls her into the orbit of a man who sees more than she was ever meant to show. Julio Figueroa is not the kind of man people underestimate twice. Quiet, observant, and impossible to deceive, he has spent years navigating power, politics, and betrayal. But nothing prepares him for a woman like Dona-someone who doesn't want his money, his influence, or his world... only a way out of it. When their paths collide, survival turns into trust, and trust turns into something far more dangerous in a world built on lies. As buried truths begin to surface and the past refuses to stay silent, both of them are forced to confront what freedom really costs-and what it means to finally choose themselves. Some chains are visible. Others are not. And some are held by people who smile while tightening them.
