Except this time, when Gohan destroyed Cell's forehead, it causes a dimensional blackhole due to the immense energy Gohan had in his attack. The blackhole swallowed everything destroying Universe 7 itself but luckily when Gohan got pulled in he unleashed his beast energy collided with the blackhole as it opened a gateway and it took Gohan into it.
