What if Pomni kissed Jax in his mind, and it made him to unabstract? This fic takes place during/after episode 9. This is my first fic so sorry if it's not that good! Also not including trans Jax in here because it feels more like a headcanon to me. Don't listen to him. Don't put on the headset. It's not worth it. ••• A couple months after Jax loses his best friend Ribbit to abstraction, he struggles with intense survivor's guilt. It's too hard for him to forget her. Her memory won't leave his mind. He wishes the memory of her would abstract along with her. But it won't. Then Pomni comes along. She's kind. She's funny. She's just the person Jax could be friends with again. No. Never again. ...But Pomni doesn't give up on him. She keeps persisting with him until finally... He blushes. She blushes. They both like each other. After an intense therapy session, Jax does something that brings him and Pomni closer than they ever were before. Jax thought that escaping the circus would be the hard part. He was wrong. Because surviving the world with Pomni is somehow so much worse.
