After the appearance of a mysterious spacetime anomaly called the Rift, a group of children and adolescents mysteriously began developing supernatural abilities. Selene Cho has kept her ability, regeneration, under extremely tight wraps for fear of being made a lab rat by government scientists. However, she's unable to hide it forever, and is discovered by Dr. Alina Petrovas, a scientist working for the newly-established National Ability Research Initiative. Rather than dissect her for science, however, Alina has other plans. A group of rogue ability-users calling themselves "Infinity" claim to seek to protect their brethren from the government, but in reality, it's nothing more than a cult seeking to recruit the vulnerable. Selene, together with Alina herself and the ex-Infinity member Rory Brennan, is tasked with taking them down once and for all.
