The Story of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a story we've all come to love, but what really happened before the heroes we know saved all of Hyrule? A princess with sealing powers - rather a princess who needed to access these powers is assigned a personal knight who succeeds in every challenge at every turn. It's been 5 years since the end of the Calamity, and all is well in Hyrule. Zelda and Link have settled comfortably into their new lives - Zelda as Queen, and Link as her right hand. But when a marriage offer arrives from a nearby Kingdom, they will both have to decide what it is they each truly want... for themselves, and for the future of Hyrule. ~ ~ ~ Post-BOTW, Zelink, short and fluffy, from both Zelda and Link's POV. Just after Link awakens inside the Shrine of Resurrection 100 years after the Calamity, five individuals mysteriously appear within the ancient shrine with nothing but a few tools to aid them. But these people are foreign to this land, for they are humans, unexpectedly brought to the land of Hyrule, which they believed to be merely a fictional world from a video game. With only a single message from the Goddess to guide them, they must navigate Hyrule and all of its challenges in order to help save Hyrule and discover the reason why they were brought to Hyrule. Will they discover their purpose and find the way home? Do they play a role in saving Hyrule from the wrath of Calamity Ganon, who has been waiting to destroy the world as Princess Zelda's power begins to falter? Read on to find out! Zelda and Link have defeated Calamity Ganon and are now free to go their own way. However, it is hard to get to grips with their past, which can get in the way of their present. And as if that isn't hard enough, there seems to be a new threat that they will need to face. **This story takes place directly after Breath of the Wild and has no link to Tears of the Kingdom.
