Is It Wrong to Wake Up as Myself in Orario?
A DanMachi Fanfiction
I was supposed to land in Japan.
Instead, I woke up in Orario.
Not reincarnated. Not reborn. Not a hero blessed with a cheat skill or a divine mission. Just me-an orphan with too many regrets, too many memories, and absolutely no business surviving in a city built around a Dungeon that devours people every day.
At first, survival was all that mattered. Find food. Earn money. Stay alive long enough to see tomorrow.
Then the Dungeon started changing things.
A mysterious ability that shouldn't exist. Knowledge of events that haven't happened yet. Monsters that seem to recognize me before I recognize them. The deeper I go, the harder it becomes to tell where luck ends and something far stranger begins.
Around me, Orario continues moving toward the future I remember. Bell Cranel chases his dream. Familias rise and fall. Heroes are born.
But people are not stories.
As new bonds form and old wounds refuse to stay buried, I find myself caught between the world I came from and the one slowly becoming home. Some scars survived death. Some losses never truly ended. And some encounters feel far too familiar for comfort.
I never wanted to replace anyone's story.
I only wanted a chance to live my own.
The problem is that Orario seems to have other plans.
