Ember didn't feel comfortable near the step-brother always hiding behind her twin brother, when one day he wasn't there and with the help of her mother she found she had a disease and her mother told the gibbons/Allan family, mark Allan came to her room the next day telling her he would fix her. He didn't do such thing but after brain washed and she couldn't fight back with her illness she couldn't move and when her best friend passed, she fell deep in a hole not even her loved ones could get her out of. And in the end the only person who reached the rope down to her was the boy who had his own problem and was on the opposite playing pitch,Joey Lynch.
