Based on The Rookie but instead of meeting at the LAPD, they meet in high school. From my most recent poll, this seemed to be in favour for the next story so I hope you like it! Switching up the writing style as it took longer stating who is speaking, hope it is obvious who is talking, but it is more of a novel style :)

Tim has a 16 year old son from his previous marriage where his wife died. Lucy is new to the station and catches Tim's eye. Tim's son Ethan is somewhat a troublemaker.. Will he accept Lucy after his mom has passed away?
