Caine and his adventures are too much for her and her fellow prisoners. Additionally comes the fact that Ragatha always looks out for her. It's not that horrible, but her kindness feels forced sometimes. Plus the hands on her shoulders, the side hugs. She HATES it. Jax has been trapped in the circus for a few years. He acts like an asshole, but that wasn't always the case. He notices things that some others don't. He notices Pomni's aversion to touch and other patterns of her behaviour. He could use it for his jokes and make fun of her, but a series of events, adventures and conversations causes him to drop that idea very quickly. This series of events instead leads to the start of a new friendship between two complete opposites. The arrogant and smug rabbit boy and the anxious jester girl. Can this end well?
