Small Secrets and Big Consequences follows Louis Dupain-Cheng Agreste, the sixteen-year-old youngest son of Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, during his exchange year in Littleton, Massachusetts. Before leaving Paris, Louis secretly obtains an experimental medical ring from Xavier-Yves Roth, a rogue vendor connected to Max Kanté's tech-medical company. Louis believes the ring is a neurological aid meant to help with anxiety, sensory overload, and the pressure he feels as an autistic teenager trying to survive a new country, a new school, and a new life.
