Everyone thinks Giyuu is cold. Distant. Useless. Maybe they're right. The war rages on, and the Demon Slayer Corps holds strong, but Giyuu doesn't. He finds himself slipping, faster than he can hide it. The nightmares won't stop. The voices won't quiet. And the weight of past sins digs deeper than the blade ever could. He tells himself he deserves it. All of it. Every bruise, every scar, every sideways glance. Then Sanemi notices. And worse, Sanemi stays.
