She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. "I'm fine," I state rather bluntly. "You don't look fine." "Then stop looking." He chuckles, and damn does he. His voice is dessert for the ears, his face is candy for the eyes. If I wasn't so pissed off I might've swooned over him. "How can I? When an angel is so close to me," He smirks. I fully turn myself towards him this time. "Were you there? That night?" I have to know before I think about him in the light any longer. "No." He doesn't even hesitate, "But my father was," "If I may ask, what in the hell prompted him to take my brother from a car accident?" He plasters on a tight-lipped grin, a small tick in his chin. "That's the thing, Hermosa, that night was everything but an accident." (Beautiful) --- This is a small intercept from Beautifully Broken. If you decided to read it I hope you enjoy!

He continues to stare as the young girl hums quietly, while keeping her eyes locked on the book in her hands. At the sound of his footsteps, she suddenly stops reading only to look up and let out a squeal, one that he found adorable. Her already rosy cheeks become even brighter. "Hello." He melts at the sound of her angelic voice and says his next words carefully, softly. "Hi sweetheart." She tilts her head to the side as he unknowingly stares at her with a certain longing. "Who are you?" "I'm Seth. What's your name?" He questions, taking a step into her room. She grins, causing two cute dimples to appear on her cheeks. "Daisy." ~ In which Seth Andrews, who is usually quiet and brooding, becomes captivated by his best friends little sister, Daisy Miller, who believes everyone has at least a little good in them.

Anthony stops at my bare shoulder and leans down to press a hot kiss onto the skin. "You can't say things like that.." He delivers another, this one to my collarbone and making my words grow weak, unconvincing ... even as they come from my own mouth. "We're supposed to be ... friends." Anthony is quiet at first, the only response I get being his free hand drifting over to cage my body into the small space between us. "I know .." He trails off. It goes dead silent for a second. "But I ... don't think that's enough for me, B." There's a sharp breath from me at the words and a flush of heat to my cheeks when Anthony pushes my hair over my shoulder. His actions expose me to him, showing off my bare shoulders in a way that's downright indecent as the straps pulled down now hang loosely off my arms. "I don't want .. to be just a friend to you." And then, there's another kiss to pair. Although it isn't a simple peck this time. It's an actual kiss now, slow and softly pressed onto my neck. Beatrix thought she'd never trust another guy again. After being burned, both physically and emotionally by her ex-boyfriend Rudy in her senior year of high school, Beatrix's trust in people is low. That is, until she transfers to the esteemed, private Highland University. It's a fresh start to give the girl what she wants most: A shot at normalcy. The plan is simple .. just keep her head down, study her ass off, try to become a functional person once again and hopefully make one friend or two. Everything was supposed to start over that year. She'd had high hopes of starting anew and faithfully prepared to blend in to the background. And the day goes well. Until she sits down in Spanish, where she meets Anthony Gamaro. After a slight misunderstanding, Beatrix finds herself in an odd friendship with the 20 year old football player. One that slowly helps her regain the confidence she'd long lost before.

His lips trail down my neck, sending shivers all over. "I love looking at you," he breathes, brushing the hair off my shoulders. "Will you let me?" My wild heart seeks his. "Yes." For a long moment, I just feel his gaze. Then, his hands. They skim down my spine as his lips find my throat. I lean back into his palms, my eyes closing. He kisses between my breasts, then across them, swirling his tongue and kissing, always kissing. He pulls my arms out to kiss them, all the way to my wrists...all the way back. He presses affection into my skin, injects trust into my veins. Then he eases me to my back and does it all over again. ******* An obscure tutoring opportunity brings Camila closer to three friends: Noah, Jed, and Fox. He steadily opened his eyes, his breath pausing for a second as his gaze met mine. "𝐓ú. 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞 𝐭ú," He hushed in a hoarse voice, his hand suddenly travelling to the back of my neck before he used it to drag me closer to his face. The tip of our noses grazed against each other, the tiny contact set out a small flame in my heart. His lips grazed across mine for a fraction of a second yet it was enough to shake the fire aflame in me, heaves of smoke huffing up my heart, this time drowning and choking me as all my emotions came crashing down as he collapsed his lips on mine. ________ Leon Torres. Sarah Andersson Smith x Adrian Valentino "No. No, I didn't stalk you." The words flew out far too quickly, drenched in panic before I could stop them. Shit. How the hell did he know? Adrian only looked at me, his lips curling into that infuriating, lazy smirk that somehow made him look even more handsome. He tilted his head, amusement dancing in his eyes as if he already knew exactly what I was thinking. "Really?" he asked, his voice dangerously calm. I swallowed. "Then how do you explain running into me outside restaurants?" He took a slow step closer. "Or bars." Another step. "Arcades." Each word chipped away at my confidence, "You always manage to appear in the same hallway I'm in." he continued. Heat flooded my face. This bastard. He was enjoying every second of this. "They were... coincidences?" I offered weakly, even though it came out more like a question than an answer. Adrian laughed. The sound settled somewhere deep in my chest and made my knees feel suspiciously unstable. "You need to become a better liar, little liar." Before I could react, he reached over and ruffled my hair. I frowned, swatting his hand away. "But I didn't lie" I muttered, clinging to what little dignity I had left. His smile only widened. "Sure you didn't." The words came out as nothing more than a whisper. Then, before my brain could catch up, he leaned in. His lips brushed against my cheek, soft enough to make me question whether it had actually happened. My breath caught. He pulled away with that same smug smile, turned on his heel, and walked off as though he hadn't just short-circuited my entire nervous system. Halfway down the hallway, he glanced back for the briefest second. I could've sworn I saw him fighting another smile. He hadn't just figured it out. He'd known. The countless times I'd "coincidentally" crossed paths with him. He'd known all along. And somehow... He'd let me keep doing it.
