Deep within a remote forest, far away from civilisation, stands an ancient manor hiding secrets that were never meant to be discovered.
Inside lives Dr. Adrian Ashcroft, a brilliant scientist whose research has pushed the boundaries of nature itself. Alongside him is his only patient-a young woman whose life has been completely changed by his experiments. Once human, she now carries the features of something impossible: dragon-like wings, horns, a tail, and other unnatural changes that set her apart from the world beyond the manor walls.
With no clear memories of her past, she knows only the life she has been given inside the isolated estate. Dr. Ashcroft tells her that he is helping her, that the treatments are necessary, and that the manor is the safest place for her. With nowhere else to turn and no one else to remember, she depends on him for everything.
But as the years pass, questions begin to emerge.
Strange feelings of familiarity haunt her. Forgotten images, unexplained emotions, and mysterious objects hidden throughout the manor suggest there may be more to her past than she has been told. As her curiosity grows, she begins to explore the locked rooms, forgotten corners, and hidden secrets of the estate.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ashcroft becomes increasingly determined to protect the world he has created around them. His obsession with his research, his patient, and maintaining control over the manor threatens to unravel everything he has built.
A dark gothic tale of identity, memory, and the consequences of unchecked obsession, this story follows one woman's search for the truth about who she was, who she has become, and whether the life she knows is truly her own.
