Oscar Piastri has always been easy to love. Quiet. Kind. Brilliant. The sort of person who remembers birthdays, explains assignments, and stays late to help everyone else, even when nobody asks. At university, surrounded by friends who have become family, Oscar should be happy. So why does he feel like he's taking up too much space? As the pressure of university mounts and old insecurities begin to feel louder than they used to, Oscar starts to disappear in ways no one quite notices. A missed coffee. An empty seat. A smile that doesn't reach his eyes. And by the time his friends realize something is wrong, it may already be too late. Because sometimes people don't leave all at once. Sometimes they leave a little at a time. And sometimes the hardest question isn't why someone left- It's who made them believe they had to.

No one in Formula 1 ever expects two drivers to think the same way. Not when every corner demands instinct, every braking point reveals personality, and every lap tells the truth about who you are behind the wheel. Which is why the first time Oscar Piastri's telemetry matched mine, people laughed it off. Coincidence. Luck. One strange overlap in a sport full of them. The second time, they frowned. The third time, they whispered. By the fourth, no one was laughing anymore. Because our data wasn't just similar. It was identical - curve for curve, corner for corner, choice for choice - as if he had reached into my head and stolen the rhythm of my hands, my instincts, my heart. No one could explain it. And the more it happened, the harder it became to ignore the question sitting like a stone in my chest - Why us?

<^ Oscar piastri moved to Britain when he was 15. However, in this school was different. It was almost like an American tv show in there. You had the football team, the captain who was a man whore and just so happened to be named, Lando Norris. Oscar didn't speak much. Mostly because he was an Aussie in a British school, he got bullied a lot. Mainly by said football captain. IN OTHER WORDS THE LANDOSCAR BULLY/NERD WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR ^>

It was supposed to be just a celebration. After scoring valuable points at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Kimi and Ollie went out with their friends to unwind. They drank, they laughed, and they let loose after a tough race. But they had way too much fun, and the next thing they knew, they woke up in the same hotel room with heavy heads and even heavier hearts. To their absolute horror, they found rings on their fingers. In a drunken haze, they had stumbled into a chapel and got married. They panicked, thinking their careers and lives were over. But fate had other plans. When photos of their wedding leaked to the public, they expected hate and scandal. Instead, they broke the internet in the best way possible. They became Formula 1's first same-sex married couple, and the support was overwhelming. Their teams loved the publicity, the fans adored them, and even their families gave them their blessings. Kimi's own mother scolded him for keeping their "relationship" a secret, telling them that maturity wasn't about age, but about responsibility. Caught up in the happiness of everyone around them, Kimi and Ollie didn't have the heart to annul the mistake. They decided to keep up the act. But as they started living as husbands in front of the cameras and behind closed doors, they slowly realized that what started as a drunken mistake might actually be the perfect forever they never knew they needed. George Russell was thirty-two, calm and steady, while Max Verstappen was thirty-four - still sharp and competitive, but with a softer edge that only those closest to him ever saw. For years, they'd moved past being rivals and built a life together, sharing their love for racing and everything else. But they never imagined family would walk into their lives through the paddock gates. It started at a junior karting event. There they found eleven-year-old Kimi Antonelli - quiet, focused, and incredibly talented, but completely alone. No cheering parents, no proper team, just himself and a kart that had seen better days. He lived in foster care, moving from place to place, and racing was the only thing that ever felt truly his. George noticed first, and Max's curiosity quickly turned into concern. What began as small acts of help - adjusting his kart, sharing advice, giving him a ride home - slowly grew into something deeper. They realized they didn't just want to mentor him; they wanted to give him the stability and love he'd never known. This wasn't just about Kimi finding a home. It was about three people from very different backgrounds finding where they belonged. George had grown up with support but constant pressure to prove himself; Max had learned to stand alone from a young age; Kimi had learned not to get attached, because nothing ever stayed. Together, they learned that family isn't about blood or shared names - they chose to keep Kimi's last name, Antonelli, so he would never lose who he was. When the off-season arrived, they stepped away from cameras and races to focus entirely on the adoption process. There were hard days, doubts, and questions from others, but through home visits, quiet evenings, and honest conversations, they built trust. Kimi stopped waiting for them to leave, and George and Max learned how to be the parents he needed. Started: 3 July 2026 | End: 9 July 2026 Completed ✅ Book cover by @iamchxrry
