There were only two things Summer knew about Christians: that they were hypocrites, and that she wanted nothing to do with them or the God they worshiped. When she is urged to attend a support group led by a local church, the last thing she wants to do is get involved, certainly not with its parishioners. Then she meets Sebastian. A member of the church, Sebastian is a Christian in every sense of the word, with a painfully optimistic outlook on life- even though he is dying of cancer. Despite Summer's animosity towards God, she takes a liking to Sebastian and his "bizarre" Christian behavior. Though neither of them believes in love at first sight, something quickly brews between them as Sebastian makes it his life's mission to show her how a true follower of Christ is meant to be, and help her rekindle her forsaken faith. However, as his health deteriorates, they are forced to realize that it takes more than a little faith to stand against death. Sometimes, it takes a belief in miracles.

UPDATE! Mind of a Christian Chapter 2 is out, which will revisit some topics here, as well as cover new thoughts: https://www.wattpad.com/story/267417608-mind-of-a-christian-chapter-2 -------------------------------- I'll say it now, I haven't been a Christian for a long time. Even though time isn't necessarily a deciding factor in spiritual growth, I still can't claim that I've grown to be spiritually mature. BUT, I keep learning new things about God and how great He is, and that's super exciting! I want to share the great things about our God to you, so that we may all know His glory. If you're a Christian reading this, I would like to share you things that may hopefully strengthen your walk in the Messiah. If you're not a Christian but you're still reading this, I hope that I may provide sound and reasonable arguments for the God of Israel. Like any human, I'm not going to be perfect in delivering what I share, so if I mess up somewhere, you can even rebuke me and tell me how I presented something wrong! Do you have a bad stigma against Christianity? Do you think that it's right or wrong of us to hate gays or certain people? Do you want to know more about God and how to become closer to Him? Do you want evidence on His existence itself? Share your thoughts! Let's come together and engage with your opinions - both good and bad, peaceful and controversial - here!

➜ 私の証言 🎀 (Enjoy) To start this off, all praises to the most High God of Israel, the God of my ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! May the golden light of Christ shine from within me as I say these words to you. And all praises to the Holy Spirit for giving me insight and the flow of words to point many back to Jesus Christ. For John 14:6 says, Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Read with an open mind and heart. I've been living a lie before Christ revealed himself to me and so I want to share this testimony with others. ♡ Book cover and story is by @L-ockette 𝄃𝄃𝄂𝄂𝄀𝄁𝄃𝄂𝄂𝄃 𖥔

New Orleans, Louisiana. October 2005. Before Hurricane Katrina, the Jetson Youth Correctional Center struggled with overcrowding. After the storm, the problem became impossible to ignore. The state quietly responded by creating the Arcane Delinquent Rehabilitation Initiative (ADRI), a secret juvenile program where convicted teenagers could earn their freedom by hunting the supernatural horrors now lurking throughout Louisiana's flooded wilderness. Every monster killed shortens a sentence. Every failure carries a price. Among its recruits are three teenage convicts: Shiloh Aroha, a seventeen-year-old part-time demon slayer desperate to escape her suffocating home life. Remy Salazar, an eighteen-year-old half-demon hybrid who finds human bureaucracy more exhausting than the dead. Prue Beaumont, a kindhearted seventeen-year-old witch whose quiet demeanor conceals a dangerous past. When they're not hunting monsters, ADRI requires its recruits to attend classes and court-ordered therapy inside a battered community center that's been converted into a temporary school. Between occult lessons, counseling sessions, and weapons drills, everyone is expected to pretend life is slowly returning to normal. Until one of their classmates is murdered. The administration calls it an accident. The police are kept at arm's length. Students are warned to keep their mouths shut and move on, but the victim had been digging into something hidden beneath the community center's polished routine. As another student vanishes and whispers spread through the hallways, Shiloh, Remy, and Prue uncover a trail of missing records, sealed rooms, and half-forgotten disappearances stretching back long before Katrina. Every answer points to a secret someone inside ADRI is willing to kill to protect. Make no mistake - they aren't looking to play heroes or clean up messes. But if exposing the school's dark secrets is the only way to earn a clean slate, then so be it.
