It has been 7 years since you joined the circus. You only knew that as you had been counting each day with tallys in your notebook that you hid under your pillow at night. It was like sleeping on the days you had lost,replacing them with your dreams of the original life now gone probably for forever. Your relationship with the group was varied depending on the person but your most interesting connection was with the "Ringmaster" or some would say your "Prison warden" but the group called him Caine. Caine was the AI who looked after humans who ended up in the circus! He kept things in control and sent the gang off on adventures!... ... but what happens when one link in the chain begins to break?

What if Pomni never got the chance to distract Caine from finding Kinger? What if Caine liked torturing the humans? This is a what if scenario where Caine stops Kinger and doubles down, almost going full AM. It will take place before Caine sends the circus members through their own personal hell. Keeping this in mind, you'll see how he will use this to break them. This will be a Caine x Reader. I have avoided using Y/N and kept the character as vague as possible.
