He thought he was dead. Was he dead? It almost seemed like he was, waking up somewhere he didn't recognize and remembering nothing else. Not even his own name. Recovering his memories would be a difficult feat. But he wasn't alone. (A story about love and community. About grief, loss, and forgiveness. Loosely inspired by this idea I got while playing I Was A Teenage Exocolonist.)

Bloodymary and Coltland UNITED WE STAND! It's the AU where Simon is the convict engineer, Grace is the scientist, and Colt is the Pilot. Hopefully they can save the stars and maybe some Yaoi shenanigans will take place (oh they definitely are). The angst tag is very purposeful I must warn.

A suicide mission. That's what it was, Simon was sent down on that god forsaken blood plan. The convict was told this was his only chance to live. If he could get what they needed, then he would be free. Lies. All of them. He was sent there with no expectation that he would make it back. Now he was facing his death in a desperate attempt to both kill this monster and be free. Though...it would take his life. Or so he thought, until he was found by some teacher and a rock. He was dead right? (None of the character or art, etc, are mine)

Ryland Grace finds himself in a normal morning on Erid to be bombarded by Rocky. He learns a new human is on Erid and he is coming to the house soon after surgery. The human being Simon fresh from the Iron Lung. This is entirely self indulgence on my part for Bloody Mary lol.

"Your cooking tastes like prison food," Simon muttered into the glass, his voice bitter but without a trace of venom, fogging the pane as he spoke. Ryland let out a breathless, watery sound, halfway between a laugh and a sob. "I'll take that as a compliment." ---- A continuation of the story after the events of Project Hail Mary and Iron lung. I try to be as story (and fact) accurate as I can be for the nerds out there. I see you, you're welcomed here (and everybody else). I heavily rely on PHM book with some details from the movie. TL;DR Grace is panicking because Simon is hot, but make it slow burn and cosmic horror. :D My art!

Life is peaceful on Erid, until Eridian astrophysicists discover a new solar system. It parallels Earth, except for its vast emptyness. Likely another victim of astrophage, except for its wandering moons full of what could only be observed as blood... Adrian wanders out as lead biologist to study these "blood moons" and discover what may be alien life similar to Earth's. The story of two Earthlings, far from home, taking care of one another through the guilt of their sacrifices.

I hate my ADHD) Began: May 12th 2026 Completed: ~~~~~~~~ When Simon, a survivor pulled from a collapsing, anomaly-ridden reality, falls through a fracture in space, he doesn't land in a void or a paradise. He lands aboard the Hail Mary, where Dr. Ryland Grace mistakes him for another impossible discovery drifting in the dark between stars. What begins as fear and mistrust slowly shifts into reluctant dependence as Grace nurses Simon back from near death, while Simon struggles to exist in a universe that feels too clean, too bright, and too far removed from everything he's lost. When the two plant a single sapling on the distant world of Erid, it becomes a fragile symbol of survival between their broken realities. But when the tree begins to die, they discover it is tied to the same Light anomaly that shattered Simon's universe and scattered humanity across the stars. To save it, they must follow unstable fractures in space toward the core of the Light itself, where reality bends, stars collapse, and the truth behind both of their worlds waits to be uncovered.

"Can I please wrap your hand? You cut it on the glass..." Grace timidly states glancing at the blood now on his right hand. "Jus gimme the bandage. I'll do it m's-" The man's response was cut short by him glancing down at where his left arm used to be, a wave of emotions briefly crossing his eye. He sits in silence for a few minutes, "Okay." He grunts out, reluctantly accepting the help from the blonde who suddenly had his life in his hands.
