Except he doesn't. The kiss - the magical true love's kiss - isn't so magical. Chase is still asleep, and everybody's freaking out. The prince, Deacon, even Nox, surprisingly. There's only one thing that they can possibly think of. Chase needs an actual true love's kiss to wake him, and obviously the prince - basically an NPC - isn't his true love.
