Alessandra has never believed in safety. Life never gave her a reason to. Pain carved her childhood, silence became her armor, and trust? That was a luxury she could never afford. So when she runs -- bloody, broken, and barely breathing, she doesn't expect saving. She certainly doesn't expect to be taken in by a family dripping in wealth and power and. . . warmth? A mother who refuses to give up on her. A father who watches like he's waiting for her to let him in. And six brothers. Rough. Protective. Complicated. Brothers, who don't know what to do with a sister who won't speak. She doesn't know how to trust. How to believe that maybe not everyone wants to hurt her. Every instinct tells her to run. To shut down. But they don't let her go. Not when she flinches. Not when she hides. Not even when she breaks. Happiness is for other people, or that's what she believes. But when love comes wrapped in gentle patience and fierce protection, when hands reach for her without demand, when hearts break themselves wide open just to hold her... she starts to wonder. Can a girl stitched together with silence and fear ever belong in a family built on love? Can she stand tall when the ghosts of her past refuse to let go? And when danger claws its way back into her life, threatening everything she's come to know... will she find her voice, or will she shatter all over again? Trigger Warnings: Child abuse. Violence. Addiction. Panic attacks. SA. Self-harm. Death, and more.

(Based on the show "The Walking Dead") Serina Rose Williams lives a very mundane and happy life. She lives with her motherly sister Lori, overprotective brother in law Rick, and adorable nephew Carl. If it were up to her, she would want to live her whole life like this, happy and close with her family. However, it would appear that life seemed to have other plans for her. for she receives news that the only brother she has in her life, Rick was shot in the line of duty , and had entered a comatose state. Heartbroken, and grief stricken, Serina is not at all prepared when the world decides to end, only three months later. With no choice, Serina has to leave the only home she's ever known, and flee the city along with her sister, nephew, and her brother in law's best friend. They set up camp and try their best to live a peaceful life whilst the world as they know it, succumb to the walking dead. Serina must accept the rules of survival in this new world, while trying to protect her family, and withholding the morals she had in her owl world. She must soon come to terms with the fact that in this new world, it's kill or be killed, something the gentle-hearted girl must overcome, before the new world ends up breaking her. "Ya know, yer kindness is gonna get you killed one day...Can't be too trustful of people with the world as shitty as it is right now." "I'm nice...not stupid" (Daryl Dixon x OC)

She was far from home, wandering through the wreckage of a post-apocalyptic world that no longer made sense. The rules had changed. The future was gone. All that remained was survival, day by day, step by step, always looking over her shoulder. She never expected to find hope again. She didn't expect safety. And she sure as hell didn't expect to fall for a man with a crossbow and a heart he tried to keep hidden. Daryl Dixon was unlike anyone she had ever known - powerful and untamed. A man who carried his pain like a weapon, with eyes that held the weight of a troubled past. He didn't trust easily. He didn't let people get close. But there was something in her, something raw and real, that held him quietly captive. Thrown together by chance and bound by the instinct to protect what little they had left, they begin to find something neither of them believed could survive the end of the world. Not just trust, not just loyalty, but connection. And in the spaces between bloodshed and silence, in the ashes of what was once civilization, they discover that even in the darkest times a love they never expected could take root - raw, real, and relentless. But in a world where every choice carries a price and loyalty is tested in fire and blood, can love really survive the end of the world? Mature content 😜 Original female character. Some main TWD plot points included but with lots of divergence. Beginning just before the start of season one and will follow the entire run of the show. From the author of Athena ~ TWD (Daryl Dixon). I do not own any rights to TWD characters or plots.

In a world reshaped by loss, the greatest battles are no longer for survival, but for truth. The survivors of Heartfelt have come a long way from where they began. The road to Falmouth stretches ahead. A promise of safety, stability, and answers. But every step forward chips away at what little strength they have left. The cities are quieter now, yet the silence is full of memory, fear, and ghosts that refuse to stay dead. As they push onward, the world begins to shift beneath their feet. New paths emerge, new alliances form, and new truths rise to the surface. Truths about the past, about each other, and about who they are becoming in a world that no longer feels familiar. Bonds will be tested. Wounds will reopen. Forgiveness and honesty may matter more than bullets ever could. And hanging above it all is an unspoken question: Will every one of them make it to Falmouth? Or will the journey demand more than they're able to give? This is not just a story of survival anymore. It's the story of holding on to identity, connection, and hope in a world that keeps remaking itself. A story about reconciling who they were with who they must become. And beneath the ruin, there remains the tremor of possibility that even here, in the ashes of the old world, something new might take root. Book 4 explores truth, reconciliation, and new beginnings on the long road to Falmouth. Where safety waits, if they can reach it.
