George Russell is just a farm boy from the countryside with the prettiest blue eyes you've ever seen. When he gets a scholarship to a fancy city school full of rich kids, he feels totally out of place. His clothes are wrong, his accent is funny, and he misses the smell of grass and cows. Then he meets Alex. Alex is class president, super friendly, and basically an angel. He takes George under his wing, shows him around, and even invites him home where his parents treat George like family. Alex is the best friend George could ever ask for. And then there's Max. Max is rich, popular, the school boxing champion, and kind of a nightmare. Everyone fears him or wants to be him. But George? George doesn't care. He talks back, stands his ground, and those stupidly beautiful blue eyes of his drive Max absolutely crazy. Max tries to make George's life miserable. But George won't break. And the more Max tries to bully him, the more he finds himself... curious. Obsessed, even. What happens when the farm boy, the angel, and the devil get tangled up together? Spoiler alert: nothing goes as planned. Friendship, rivalry, and maybe something more-this is the story of three very different boys who end up changing each other forever.

It's no secret George Russell and Max Verstappen don't get along, the on track rivalry was legendary among fans and drivers alike, snide remarks in post race interviews, threats and more insults than they could count. Max thinks George is uptight and too much of a killjoy; George thinks Max is arrogant and reckless. Everything changes after Max has a very vivid and romantic dream of George that makes him question how he really feels about the other, chaos ensues. or the one where Max has a dream about George that changes everything.
