An (probably unoriginal) AU I thought of where Mario and Luigi are the Princes of the Mushroom Kingdom and Peach and Daisy are their knights/protectors. This is a pretty slow burn fanfic of Bowser and Luigi and I'm publishing this story to get input on it and there aren't many Bowuigi fanfics out there. If the input is good, I'll be more than happy to continue the story because I love this pairing so much. Anyway, enjoy! Also I chose the least accurate cover art for the story >.<

Following a defeat at the hands of Mario once again, Bowser had given up chasing Princess Peach. He had to focus on his own kingdom and his children. He had to make sure his kingdom thrived of for years to come. Luigi was content with a quiet life, but with a princess be kidnapped constantly there was no quiet. Accompanying his brother on this rescue, he saw how ruthless he got when he went rescuing. After helping every Koopa on his way, including the one of the sons of the king, Luigi may find something he hasn't found or bothered to look for, and Bowser will learn sometimes being soft for other is the most masculine thing you can do. After Losing to Mario yet again, and his boyfriend luigi failing to make him feel better Bowser has Kamek make him a potion to make him impervious. The spell succeeds but what Bowser Dosent know is that Kamek used a Koopa bat as a base for the potions power. Bowser now has an unquenchable thrist for blood.
