In the Sapphire Kingdom, Nani Hirunkit Changkam enjoys an idyllic, carefree existence. Shielded from the toxic grasp of royal politics and raised in a supportive, egalitarian ducal family, Nani dedicates his life to his true passion - apothecary. He runs a popular clinic in the North, treating nobles and commoners alike with the kindness and respect his parents instilled in him. Beloved by the people and deeply content with his books, his work, and his nieces and nephews, Nani's life is picture-perfect. However, Nani's tranquil world is shattered when his obsession with apothecary ultimately leads to his kidnapping. When Nani and his captor finally met face-to-face, Nani held his ground, glaring at the man. "Who are you? Why did you bring me here?" Nani demanded, keeping his voice steady despite the circumstances. "If you need a physician, you can just visit my clinic and be treated. You don't need to go to the extreme lengths of kidnapping me. Or is there another reason? But if my memory serves me right, I don't have any clash with anyone." The man simply smirked, leaning back as his eyes slowly and deliberately took in the physician's features. "Treatment? Hardly," he replied, his tone dripping with arrogant amusement. "I am just completely allured by your beauty. I never thought I'd be able to see a man so lovely. It piqued my interest and curiosity." Finding his captor's words highly inappropriate and perverted-especially the casual, entitled way he spoke to him-Nani didn't hesitate. Staying true to his family's rule of never allowing oneself to be disrespected, he stepped forward and delivered a swift, stinging slap across the face of his captor.

"Nani, Nani, bro!" "Hey! Wake up!" "Fuck! What is it?" He was about to go back to sleep since his friends isn't answering then he heard a voice, "Should I ask someone to get you ready or you get up on your own?" He got up quickly when he heard it, because this guy isn't joking when he said those. He even answered, "Chill, okay? I already got up. See? No need to get someone" he chuckled nervously and look around. His friends are already gone. Of course they are, those shits won't have his back in this situation. He again showed a forced smile and began to move towards the bathroom.

There are three rules in Ashridge University. Don't challenge the Alpha Circle. Don't look at Sky for too long. And if Sky starts looking at you... pray he gets bored. Ashridge University wasn't just a college-it was a kingdom ruled by money, power, and fear. At the top stood The Alpha Circle, six untouchable heirs who owned the campus without ever needing a crown. Sky. Tay. Pond. Dew. Perth. Joss. Everyone feared them. Everyone obeyed them. Everyone knew that one mistake could turn your life into a nightmare. Then came Nani. A scholarship student from a loving middle-class family. Calm. Quiet. Stubborn enough to never bow his head. He loved plushies, K-pop, dressing neatly, and protecting his pride more than anything else. He didn't care about rich heirs. He didn't care about power. He certainly didn't care about Sky. That... was his first mistake. Because Sky had never been told "no." What began as cruel games, public humiliation, and a dangerous fascination slowly turned into something far darker-an obsession neither of them could control. Some addictions destroy lives. Some destroy hearts. And some... Destroy the person who falls first. "He never chased anyone. Until him."

Coming home was supposed to feel like freedom for Nani Hirunkit, not a sentence disguised as marriage. But one dinner was enough to shatter the peace he thought he still had when his family revealed they had already chosen a husband for him-a widowed businessman old enough to stand beside his parents, all for the sake of expanding the empire his late mother left behind. Furious and unwilling to become another transaction, Nani runs straight to the only place that still feels safe, his uncle's house, where one reckless conversation turns into an even more reckless idea: marry a soldier instead. Someone his father despises. Someone who would never bow to his family. What begins as a desperate escape plan, complete with contracts, boundaries, and promises to never involve love, takes an unexpected turn the moment Nani walks into a military base and boldly points at the stoic, unreadable Sky Wongravee as if fate itself had placed him there. Unfortunately for everyone involved, Nani has never backed down from something he wants especially with desperation on the line-hence, Sky Wongravee may be the first man impossible enough to make him stay.

Nani never imagined that marrying Sky would mean stepping into a life where love and hatred were impossible to separate. Sky was the kind of man people feared without needing an explanation-cold, ruthless, unpredictable, and far too comfortable with the darker parts of himself. He didn't know how to love normally, and Nani learned that the hard way. With Sky, affection came tangled with jealousy, arguments, possessiveness, and an obsession that refused to stay hidden. What began with resentment slowly became something neither of them knew how to control. Nani hated the way Sky could get under his skin, hated how easily one look from him could ruin his mood, and hated even more that his heart never seemed to listen when his mind screamed to stay away. Sky, meanwhile, became dangerously attached to the one person who never treated him like a monster worth fearing. Nani challenged him, fought with him, insulted him, walked away from him-and somehow always found his way back. Their relationship was messy, toxic, ridiculous, and at times painfully dark. There were no perfect promises or soft fairytales waiting for them. There were mistakes, jealousy, broken trust, possessive tempers, stupid arguments, stolen kisses, and two stubborn idiots who refused to admit how deeply they had fallen. Somewhere between all the chaos, Sky began to realize that keeping Nani wasn't the same as being loved by him. Because obsession could make you hold someone tighter. But love? Love had to make them choose to stay. And perhaps that was the most dangerous thing Sky ever learned-that after everything they had done to each other, Nani still had the freedom to walk away. And he still chose to stay. Their story was never meant to be sweet. It was meant to be dark, complicated, a little fucked up, and entirely theirs. "You keep calling me dangerous like you aren't the one who keeps walking closer."

As the youngest son of the Hirunkit family-Thailand's most powerful Alpha bloodline-Nani was promised a life of absolute privilege, stability, and love. That promise shattered the day he presented as an Omega. Viewed as a stain on the family legacy, Nani became a secret science experiment. For years, he endured agonizing biological trials and medically induced comas designed to rewrite his nature. But when the experiments failed, his family buried the truth. They claimed he was simply sick, locked him behind a mask of heavy, experimental and dangerous suppressants, and demanded perfection. Desperate to escape the suffocation and pain, Nani secured a scholarship and fled to Hong Kong. His goal was simple: survive, make a name for himself, and prove to the family who discarded him that he was still worthy of their love-even as an Omega. But what he doesn't know is that his time is running out. Years of brutal medical abuse have pushed his body to its absolute limit. The toxic overload of suppressants is failing, triggering blinding headaches, violent fainting spells, and a leaking scent he can no longer control. That is where he meets Sky Wongravee. At just twenty-five, Sky is a ruthless Alpha who gained control of his family's massive business empire after his parents died in a violent crash. He is everything Nani is pretending to be, genuinely powerful, fiercely independent, and undisputed. Genuinely afraid of anyone finding out his secret, Nani makes it his absolute mission to stay invisible and keep his distance. But while caught in Sky's orbit, Nani's carefully constructed facade completely unravels-forcing a dangerous shift in dynamics where secrets start to come up, and vulnerability turns from a death sentence to genuine care... and even love.
