Jay and Jungwon were best friends long before they understood what "distance" meant.
They grew up inseparable-sharing time, silence, and everything in between-until one day, Jay left without a proper goodbye.
What was once easy became unfinished, and what was unfinished slowly turned into something neither of them knew how to talk about.
Years later, he comes back.
Not as a stranger-but not as the same boy either.
And Jungwon has changed too.
Now they're forced into the same space again, pretending they've moved on, pretending the past doesn't still sit between them in every pause, every glance, every almost-said word.
But pretending has never worked for them.
Not when the memories are still there.
Not when the feelings never really left.
And not when staying in each other's lives feels more natural than leaving ever did.
Because some connections don't restart.
They just continue-unfinished, unresolved, and impossible to ignore.
