"May the odds be ever in your favour" . Those are words that countless kids have heard for seventy five years before they're lead to their deaths in the hands of someone just like themselves within the bloodbath of the Hunger Games. Soon, they learn the odds are not in their favour and they never were. People in the Capitol don't know what it's like, only the people from the Districts of Panem have an idea of the pain and the anguish of the Games while the rest of the population that live in that privileged bubble see it as mere entertainment. While they see a winner, a Victor, the kids that manage to survive the Games are the ones left to deal with the aftermath. This is the world of Rhea Odair. A world in which violence has a way of leaking through the cracks of trauma without allowing the chance of a break due to the fear of the consequences that surge from not complying to the orders of a tyrant to the point where living is no longer a luxury but a liability. This torment has lead Rhea, as well as her brother Finnick, to grow with anger and resentment. While their hearts are poisoned by desires of revenge, a strange man appears on their doorstep asking them about their experience in the Hunger Games and their life after in hopes to recruit them for the future, for the rebellion. This takes Rhea and Finnick back to the Capitol, back to the arena, where they'll be playing for their lives once more as they taunt the odds the future may hold for them. Will Rhea allow herself to break down the walls and let someone in? Or is love just as terrifying as living? May the odds be...well. May that be,
