Then reports of a tech thief lead Lloyd, Sora, and Arin to investigate. But Lloyd is shocked by what he finds out, especially when he finds Harumi Jade, ex-Quiet One, who he assued died in The Merge. Harumi warns him of more sinister things that are at play in their chaotic world. She gets pulled into the whirlwind that is the Ninja's world, which is slowly meshing with her own. Will they all be able to make it out without hating each other more than before, or even alive? This is a story fuled by tension, chaos, secrets, and dragons.

Lloyd and Harumi survived, but not without scars. As a concerning rumor starts to circle around, the team is called back into action. But will past mistakes haunt current decisions, and more importantly, can Lloyd and Harumi learn to trust themselves again? Follow along as the team is invited to visit a fabled kingdom, which holds a dark secret deep in its mountains. This is a rewrite of my Mamoritai series!

"How's the marriage coming along...?" Lloyd looked away with a disappointed sigh, trying to dodge Kai's gaze by staring at the floor. "I haven't even found a ring. Not a wedding, nor an engagement." He put his hand to his face. "I gotta be the worst boyfriend ever." It's been a few months since the two have moved into their new house, and life has changed more than ever. Harumi is now the CEO of her father's company, and Lloyd feels as if he's falling behind. He can't even propose right, but does he even deserve to? Harumi wants nothing more but to ask Lloyd to start a family, but it's near impossible with their schedules and her fear of Lloyd rejecting it. To solve both their dilemmas, Lloyd looks for a new job, and with a suggestion from Skylor, the two foster an interesting pair of children. Arin, a boy who lost his parents and was given away at a very young age, and Sora, a girl who ran away from home after years of neglect and abuse. Almost spitting images of the two.
