Aj is good at pretending he's okay but living with someone means that person knows you more than anyone else. That persons Niko, Niko notices the silence, the missed meals, the sleepless nights and the struggles Aj refuses to talk about. Niko wants to help but he can't just fix everything. As their friendship fades into something new Aj learns he doesn't have to struggle alone while Niko learns loving someone doesn't mean saving them. trigger warnings will be at the start of chapters when or if needed.
