*Summary:*
Remus Lupin has spent 4 years pretending he doesn't feel it.
The pull. Warm. Steady. Like a tether, right in his chest, always pointing toward Sirius Black.
He told himself it was just a crush. A stupid, 4th-year schoolboy crush that would go away.
Sirius Black has spent 4 years pretending he doesn't feel it either.
Failing, spectacularly.
It all comes to a head on the Hogwarts Express.
One train jerk. One lap. One jacket draped over both of them.
And one whispered confession that changes everything: _"I feel it too."_
Now it's September 1st and Operation: Moony is officially in effect.
Problem is, neither of them know how to act normal.
Sirius has hands that wander and a mouth that doesn't know when to quit.
Remus has pink ears and a heart that beats like it's running a marathon every time Sirius looks at him.
James is flirting with Lily.
Peter is taking notes.
Marlene and Dorcas are taking bets.
And McGonagall has absolutely no idea that two of her Gryffindors are failing at subtlety in real time.
It's going to be a long year.
A soft year. A flirty year. A year where Sirius Black decides that if he's stuck with Remus, then Remus is stuck with him too.
And Remus is starting to think that might be the best thing that's ever happened to him.
