After the events of Maddox Hatter, peace has finally returned to Wonderland. Hoping to earn back the Queen of Hearts' trust after his betrayal, Maddox offers a political alliance unlike any other-his son, Max, in an arranged marriage to Princess Pink. Though given the choice to refuse, Pink accepts the engagement for the sake of her family and Wonderland, hiding her true feelings behind a smile. Max, on the other hand, wants nothing to do with a future that was chosen for him. Cold and distant, he keeps Pink at arm's length while the two are forced to navigate life together at Auradon Prep. As whispers spread through the halls and the wedding draws closer, Pink leans on her sister and her closest friends, while Max struggles to separate Pink from the decisions their parents made. Somewhere between duty, resentment, and stolen moments, they begin to question whether a love that was never chosen can still become real.
