What if the prophecy from the nightwings was real? What if they didn't want to invade the rainforest and just wanted the war to end so they could leave the volcano in peace? What if every tribe was recognized? What if Hvitur and Asha didn't die? What if a scavenger was one of the guardians? What if the Dragonets didn't try and escape early? What if they were actually born under the three moons light? Well, it's this story. Have a nice read. [I have not read the books, so the only info I have is fanfiction and glances at the wiki. So I will be making up new stuff. So please, don't go saying "That's not how it is." I know, that's the point.] [Cover art by me, but I don't mind yall giving me fanart.] Highest numbers: #12 scavenger #18 interspecies #163 wingsoffire #25 starflight #28 peril #1 isekia 🥇 #24 dune #3 kestrel 🥉 #4 webs #27 dragonetsofdestiny #4 dragonxhuman

A Queen who chose to be a Shield, not a Storm. Destiny made a correction the day the "perfect" SkyWing heir died, leaving the kingdom to Angela-the spare, the scholar, the anomaly. While her mother ruled with cruelty, Angela ruled with questions, uncovering a shattering truth in the dust of the royal library: the ancient war against "scavengers" was a lie born of dragon greed. Refusing to inherit a legacy of slaughter, Angela saves a human named Bran from the dungeon and unleashes a secret Animus power to break the language barrier forever, forcing her tribe to hear the pleas of the prey they once silenced. Twenty years later, the Sky Kingdom is a miracle of coexistence. Humans ride dragonback in the Aerial Legion, and the Hanging Cities glow with safety. But beyond the granite borders, the world remains hungry. Princess Burn of the SandWings seethes in the desert, plotting to shatter this fragile peace and restore the old, bloody order. Haunted by the fear that her own daughter might revert to the violent instincts of their ancestors, Angela prepares for the ultimate siege. She secretly constructs the Iron Heart-an impregnable sanctuary buried deep in the earth-vowing that even if her dynasty fails, the human race will endure. In a world defined by fire, Angela must prove that the strongest claws are the ones that refuse to kill.

The IllusionWings have lived in magical isolation for thousands of years, and with no record of the Scorching, it's the one place humans can be equals. But when that isolation ends and Pyrrhia, in it's ignorance, casually commits the worst atrocity they can imagine, the most peaceful place on the planet fills with the most vengeance. Pyrrhia has oppressed humanity since forever, but not every 'tribe' have arrogantly discarded the potentials of cooperation. A passionate archery genius and a young dragon may be the only ones able to unify it - and a group of dragonets happen to be the best option. But, an atrocity always leads to hate, a history of atrocities is the fuel, and forgiveness is a lie. A war can be stopped, but what must be done to control a raging inferno of justice?
