In the quiet, haunted town of Hawkins, Indiana, monsters do not just crawl out of the Upside Down. Lilly Harrington is eight years younger than her brother Steve, blue eyed like their mother, stubborn like no one wants to admit, and practically raised by the boy everyone thinks is only good for hair and attitude. While their parents vanish into business trips and affairs, Steve becomes more than a brother. He is the one who packs Lilly's school lunches, brushes tangles out of her blonde hair, and tucks her bunny into her arms at night.

After vomiting up a strange slug creature in the season one finale, it was clear he wasn't out of the woods yet. There was also the question of what happened to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) who disappeared after confronting the Demogorgon but not completely as Hawkins police chief, Jim Hopper (David Harbour), had been leaving a stash of her beloved Eggo waffles. Lucy Harrington wasn't much like her brother; she was dorky and she was nerdy and she was unpopular and she continuously tripped up on her own feet. She only really had two friends; Josette Holland and Will Byers. She got high grades in all her classes, her favorites being English and Science. She spent a lot of her free time writing the Essays that her brother payed her to work on, the rest spent at the arcade with Josette or drawing with Will. She didn't mind though, Steve said that it helped him out, plus she got money for it that she could spend at the arcade and on candy. She did, however, miss spending time with her older brother. They spent a majority of their time together. That was at least until Steve fell in with Tommy Hagan and Carol Perkins. Now all they did together was sleep in the same house, and that was only on occasion. Steve refused to be seen with the clumsy middle schooler that was Lucy Harrington in public for longer that he forcibly had to. Even when Steve was home and not out with his friends, he acted like Lucy wasn't there. Justin Henderson had always had a thing for photography. She would steal her father's camera and use it to take pictures of leaves, butterflies, her mother reading a newspaper on the couch with her cat Mews, her baby brother playing with his toys, a rock that was sat prettily. She enjoyed the way that everything in photos were real. True, natural beauty, all captured in just a single click.
