1987. The world belongs to Michael Jackson. Sold-Out stadiums. Flashing cameras. Endless screaming and fainting fans. To everyone else, he's larger than life - untouchable, mysterious, magic in human form. But behind the fame.. behind the sequined jackets and gloves.. Michael is lonely. Desperately lonely. Late at night, when the city finally quiets down, he slips away from the spotlight searching for the one things money and fame cannot buy - a real connection, something authentic. Then he meets Rachel. She isn't dazzled by Mr. Jackson. She does not fall at his feet. In fact, she barely knows what to make of him at all. But for the first time in years, Michael feels seen - not as a global pop star icon, but as just Michael. What begins as a chance encounter under the New York City street lights quickly turns into something deeper: stolen nights, dangerous secrets, and a love neither of them ever expected. But falling for the most famous man in the world comes with a price, and the closer Rachel gets to Michael, the more impossible it becomes to separate fantasy from reality. After Midnight is a slow burning, emotional romance about fame, loneliness, freedom, and what happens when two people find each other in the quiet hours when the rest of the world is asleep.

Michael Jackson and Marilyn Bennett have been arguing for eight years. Nobody remembers exactly how it started anymore. Not their coworkers. Not their friends. Not even them. What began as a mutual dislike somewhere in the mid-1980s has long since evolved into something far more ridiculous: a rivalry fueled by sarcasm, stubbornness, and an almost impressive inability to mind their own business. By 1992, everyone around them has learned to expect it. If Michael has an idea, Marilyn will find a flaw in it. If Marilyn makes a decision, Michael will have an opinion about it. Every conversation becomes a debate. Every debate becomes an argument. And somehow, despite claiming they can't stand each other, they keep finding themselves in the same rooms, the same meetings, and the same corners of each other's lives. The problem is, hatred is easy. It's familiar. It's safe. What's much harder to explain is why the person who knows exactly how to get under your skin is also the first person you want to tell things to. Why their absence feels strangely noticeable. Or why, after years of rolling your eyes at someone, you suddenly start seeing them differently. Because somewhere between the rehearsals, late nights, sharp remarks, and endless disagreements, the lines begin to blur. Arguments become conversations. Conversations become understanding. And the person they've spent years pushing away slowly becomes the one they can't imagine losing. Unfortunately, admitting that would require Michael and Marilyn to do something neither of them has ever been particularly good at: Being wrong. Out of Line is a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers story set during Michael Jackson's Dangerous era, following two stubborn people as they navigate rivalry, reluctant respect, unexpected friendship, and the terrifying realization that the person they've been arguing with all along may be the person they were always meant to find.

Arabella Grace has lived in the Outerbanks with her dad John Grace since she was a baby. John Grace is a hardworking man who lives a middle class life as a real estate agent, not considered Kook or Pogue. This reveals an interesting dynamic for Arabella or known by her nickname as well, Ari, to grow up navigating. Rafe Cameron is older than her and never speaks to her, until it is for his advantage or his own benefit. Growing up despising each other they have to learn to tolerate each other when they suddenly are forced to work together. This is a mature book with very mature scenes. The story line will not be following outerbanks but I will be borrowing characters so you can insert yourself into the story and Rafe's world.

Lily has spent years perfecting the art of invisibility - blending into hallways, hiding behind earbuds, and quietly loving her best friend Josh from a safe, comfortable distance. But when sophomore year begins, she decides that this is the year she stops waiting and starts living. What starts as a bold new look and a kiss meant to spark jealousy quickly spirals into something far more complicated. Josh isn't as straightforward as she thought. Ella isn't the villain she seemed. And Mason Adams - the boy she wrote off as a bad reputation with a charming smirk - turns out to carry wounds deeper than anyone realized, and feelings for Lily that have been building since freshman year. Set against the backdrop of high school parties, bathroom confessions, and the quiet magic of a school auditorium, The Year Everything Changed is a story about first love, messy friendship, and the courage it takes to stop performing and actually feel something. Because sometimes the biggest role you'll ever play is yourself - and the hardest lines to say are the ones that are completely, terrifyingly true.
