The Story of the eldest son of Eddard Stark. The first Artos Stark was known as Artos the Implacable. He was said to be the most fearsome warrior of his age. His namesake has proven himself to be every bit as fearsome. Though Artos is many things a Lord is not one of them. He passes the title to his younger brother Robb in favor of battle and adventure. What will he do when he gets a war and starts losing his family. This is Artos Stark's story the book is season 1-8 so I hope you enjoy it. [Any artwork doesn't belong to me. Rebellions...are often built on either lies, misfortunes, or spite. And in the case of the Blackfyre Rebellions...it was all three. When King Aegon "The Unworthy" not only sired, but legitimised Daemon I Blackfyre, along with gifting Daemon the ancestral sword Blackfyre from where Daemon got his name, it sent ripples throughout the Seven Kingdoms. And these ripples, went from mere whispers about the legitimacy of the King's trueborn son, Daeron Targaryen, to loud and open shouts that Daemon Blackfyre should be King. After all, he was supposedly everything Daeron was not. A warrior for one, and an honourable man for another. Naturally, these calls were ignored, and so the fire that had been started from Daemon Blackfyre's legitimisation, grew from a small flicker, to a violent bonfire, and war tore through the Seven Kingdoms, as the First Blackfyre rebellion kicked off like a volatile thunderstorm... Unfortunately, this rebellion was doomed from the start, despite its promising beginnings, and Daemon was killed at the battle of the Redgrass field, leading his forces, which included Aegor "Bittersteel" Rivers, to flee to Essos and try to rebuild what they had lost... Four more times the Blackfyres rebelled, and four more times were they defeated and repelled from the Seven Kingdoms, with each rebellion that came after the first one, becoming more and more desperate and bleak. And it all culminated, with the death of Maelys "The Monstrous" Blackfyre in the Stepstones in 260 AC, because after that, the Blackfyres were all but forgotten, their house seemingly destroyed... But what if it wasn't?... What if some Blackfyres still remained? And what would happen, if these last living Blackfyres, encountered Daenerys Targaryen? The Daughter of the Mad King, who had also been forced into exile?... This is the story, of Daemon V Blackfyre...the Black Dragon Reborn... ~~~ I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING, ONLY MY OCs. "They call you Black Flame, Kepus, why?" "Because they fear me, dear niece. They fear what I am capable of. They have been since the Great Council." "And what are you capable of? Magic?" "Much more than you would imagine...Rhaenyra." ~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the year 101 AC, The Old King Jaehaerys held what was to be known...as the Great Council. A gathering of hundreds of lords, who would choose who to be the next ruler of the Seven Kingdoms after the Conciliator's death. Currently, there were two candidates that were already known. Prince Aemon's only child, Princess Rhaenys, and Prince Baelon's oldest son, Viserys. But there was also...a third claim... Prince Areys Targaryen. King Jaehaerys' and Queen Alysanne's youngest son. Born in the year 75 AC, he was the last child that Jaehaerys had ever sired, and was considered a rarity in the Seven Kingdoms, given that Queen Alysanne was 34 name-days old, and King Jaehaerys was 39 name-days old. Known as "Black Flame", Prince Areys was seen as the perfect combination of his mother and father, with his sister's, Princess Alyssa's, wild spirit. Having been given a seat on his father's council as Master of Whisperers, the youngest son of Jaehaerys was widely known and respected, with Jaehaerys himself clearly showing a clear favouritism for his youngest child. But The Old King still feared a civil war between the eldest children of Prince Aemon and Prince Baelon, and his only surviving son, and so, the Old King had called the Great Council to avoid such a war, and settle the matter whilst he still lived. Admittedly, Jaehaerys firmly believed that his youngest son, with all his influence and his well-respected reputation, would emerge as king, merely seeing it as a formality. But alas...the Lords of the realm chose otherwise... And as Prince Areys said... "I may not have been granted a crown that day...but everyone knew who truly wielded the power". ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT MY OC'S.

In the world of Westeros...there are two kinds of people, from two VERY different types of births... Trueborns, and Bastards. Trueborns are the supposedly "righteous" ones, being born from a lawful marriage between a man and his wife. An honest union. But in the case of Bastards...the situation is flipped entirely. Born of lust, dishonesty, and "sinful" passion, Bastards are considered to be creatures of deceit, lies, and hatred. Or so the Faith of the Seven says. But as always...there are exceptions. Bastards who managed to break the stereotype... Take Brynden Rivers for example, a bastard of King Aegon "The Unworthy" and Melissa Blackwood, who rose to become Hand of the King, and wielded the legendary Valyrian steel sword "Dark Sister". Or Orys Baratheon, the founder of House Baratheon, who was the bastard half-brother of Aegon The Conqueror, and helped the Conqueror unite the Seven Kingdoms into one singular realm, with Orys then being awarded Storm's End for his great efforts. But even both Brynden and Orys cannot compare to the one Bastard, who rose higher and higher no matter what he faced, overcoming every challenge that presented itself to him, no matter how gruelling or tough. The one Bastard, who became greater than any Bastard before him. His name? Maekar Waters. The Bastard son of King Jaehaerys II and his sister, Princess Rhaelle Targaryen. Having been legitimised as a true Targaryen mere weeks after his birth to avoid scandal, Maekar Targaryen grew up his trueborn siblings, Prince Areys and Princess Rhaella, under the love and care of Queen Shaera, who looked at and treated Maekar like he was her own. But after Robert's Rebellion...everything changed... Now living in the North in exile, how will the Old Dragon fair, when the War of the Five Kings threatens to tear the realm apart? He may have been born a Bastard, but he was first and foremost... A Targareyn... ~~~~ I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING. ALL RIGHTS GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS.

"I'm a bastard, Nyra. I always was one. Being loved by the Queen does not change that," "Father loves you as well. I see his eyes light up whenever you are talked about," "That light...is not light, my dragoness. It is shame. Shame for what I am. For what he did that resulted in me..." "Mother did not think that way. Neither does father. And...I do not see you as that either, Jae..." ~~~~~~~~~~ Bastards are born of lust, passion, and most of all, shame. Their mere existence is something that brings dishonour on their Father's House, and are often times treated as less than dirt. They say that everything a bastard touches, will rot and die the next day. And in the case of royal Bastards, life is not much better. Jaehaerys Waters. A boy born to Viserys Targaryen, prior to the Prince's marriage to Aemma Arryn, was seen by the court as a symbol of dishonour. A symbol of shame... Being the son of a Targaryen Prince and Serenei of Lys, said to be the most beautiful woman in all of the Seven Kingdoms and the last of a noble Valyrian household, Aemon was born with striking looks, and beautiful white hair. And despite Queen Aemma Arryn showing the boy a mother's love when Serenei did not, Jaehaerys was constantly reminded of his status. And what shame he brought... But even then, bastards can sometimes rise to heights that no one ever even considered. And in the case of Jaehaerys "Dragon Eyes" Waters, whose eyes mimicked that of a fierce Dragon's...he would rise higher than any Dragon, mortal, or bastard ever thought possible. For Aemon may have been born a Waters, but he was, and will always be... A Targaryen... ~~~~~~~~~~~ ALL RIGHTS GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, I OWN NOTHING EXCEPT MY OCs.

"Look at us, Ser Arthur. Look at where we have gotten," "Indeed, Your Grace, tis a truly spectacle, to see what you have built," "Do not self yourself short, my old friend. You have done this just as much as I have. Without you, I fear I would have perished in King's Landing, some years ago," "I live to serve you, Your Grace. It is times like this, that I see your brother Rhaegar in you. The fire of a dragon," "Indeed. The fire of not just Rhaegar, but also...Valyria itself," "Your Empire, Your Grace," "Exactly. But I feel that, "King of Valyria", simply does not have much of a meaning to it. Not when so many, claim the title of "King"." "What would you be called instead, Your Grace?" "Call me...Emperor." ~~~~ The Targareyn dynasty...was gone. Centuries of Fire and Blood, had been completely extinguished, by Robert's Rebellion. Robert Baratheon, was a deplorable man, who only started his rebellion, due to poor self-control and not being able to get what he wanted. Nevertheless, the Targareyns, were all dead...or were they? Across the Narrow Sea, in the far less centralised land of Essos, Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen had escaped their ruined home, and had been condemned to a life of the run, always dodging assassins sent by the hated Usurper. But what if...they were not the only Targaryen's who had escaped the war torn Westeros? What if, a third Targareyn, had escaped alongside them? Fiercely protected by the ever loyal knight, Ser Arthur Dayne, Raemon Targaryen, was said to have traits of the most feared, and respected, members of the Targareyn family. The ambition of Aegon the Conqueror, the Fire of Maegor the Cruel, the intelligent mind of Alysanne the Good, the ferocity of Daemon Targaryen, and the nature of Crown Prince Rhaegar Targaryen. Raemon, unlike his brother and sister, was unknown to have escaped, and his destiny...lie with a name, that held nothing, but pure power... Valyria... ~~~~~ AS ALWAYS, I DON'T OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT MY OCs :)

Ever since the days of Aegon's conquest, when House Targaryen brought the power of Dragons to the Seven Kingdoms and made them bow, there has been a clear divide between what is known as "the South", and what is known as "The North". The Southerners, as the Northerners called them, followed the Faith of the Seven, whereas the Northerners followed the Old Gods, a far more ancient religion. And it wasn't just religion that divided the two halves of the continent, for there were many other differences. The Southerners were descended from the Andals, with the exception of House Targaryen and the Dornish, whereas the Northerners were descended from the First Men, who were the original settlers of the realm, crossing the arm of Dorne long before the Andals even had the idea too. To put it simply, the North and the South were very different, and it was because of those differences, that the North always seemed more independent than the rest of the Realm. The North may have bent the knee to the Dragons, and accepted their new positions as Lords Paramount instead of Kings, yet that didn't mean the infamous animosity between North and South, evaporated overnight. The Starks, who had once ruled the North as Kings of Winter for thousands of years, continued to heavily distrust the South, even if they were a part of the same realm, under the Dragon Banner of House Targaryen... However, in an attempt to bring the North closer to the Seven Kingdoms and heal any sort of rift, King Daeron "The Good", organised a match. A match between Lord Barthogen Stark's niece, Lady Lyarra Stark, and his own son... Prince Baelor Targaryen... After being wed in both the tradition of House Stark and the Faith of the Seven, Prince Baelor and Lady Lyarra produced one child together. A son. A Prince, born of Ice and Fire, who they named...Aenar. Prince Aenar Targaryen, the Frost Born Flame... ~~~~ ALL RIGHTS GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING OTHER THAN MY OCs.
